There are various consumable items for players to acquire and use in Diablo 4. One of the more elusive consumable items in Diablo 4 is the Elixir of Antivenin. It is absolutely worth acquiring for its great benefits when you drink it. Here’s how to get it and how it works when you use it.
How to Get the Elixir of Antivenin
You can mainly only get the Elixir of Antivenin by crafting it. The problem with this is you need to get the crafting recipe for the elixir. To do this, you need to head to Kehjistan to Gea Kul there. Talk to the NPC Baraim to do the side quest Pinch of Poison. This is a pretty straightforward quest that has you get 15 venom glands from scorpions nearby.
Once you do that, you can get the Elixir of Antivenin crafting recipe from Baraim. To craft this at an Alchemist, you need to obtain the following:
- 35 Angelbreath
- 50 Bundled Herbs
- 150 Emerald Fragments
- 1000 Gold
Yes, that is quite a lot of ingredients for a single elixir but it is worth it.
How the Elixir of Antivenin Works in Diablo 4
Once you have an Elixir of Antivenin in Diablo 4, all you need to do is consume it to use it. It works similarly to other elixirs where you can only have one active on your character at a time. The effects of this elixir only last for 30 minutes in total. During this time, you will get three buffs in total on your character.
The first is resist poison for 20%, which is great against certain enemies. The second buff allows you to have 15% more health than usual. Finally, you boost the experience you get from enemies by 8% in total. Overall, this is a great elixir to use, especially if you know you’re going up against poisonous enemies.
Diablo 4 is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
