Very early on in your playthrough of Magical Delicacy, you will come across the Grand Elevator in the main Central Plaza. However, you cannot use it right away, as you will have to gain access to it by purchasing the Elevator Pass. So here’s how to get the Elevator Pass in Magical Delicacy so you can keep making your treats and deliveries.
How do I get the Elevator Pass in Magical Delicacy?
After buying the Elevator Pass, you can use the Grand Elevator, which connects the Central Plaza and the Upper Market. This makes traveling between the two locations straightforward and effortless. Luckily, getting this elusive Elevator Pass is not as difficult as it may sound, as you can purchase it from the Town Hall.
The Town Hall is situated in the Upper Market in Magical Delicacy. Not only does the Upper Market inhabit the Town Hall, but many traders that sell valuable ingredients are also located there. But as you might expect from this Metroidvania-inspired title, reaching the Upper Market will require a bit of travelling from you.
Starting from the Central Plaza, go left until you reach the new section of the map. Immediately double-jump onto the staircase and head to the right. In the next area, continue to go right and navigate through the ledges until you reach a platform on the left. From here, go up the ledge, up another staircase, and head right to the Upper Market. Keep going right, and you will run across the Town Hall.
How much is the Elevator Pass in Magical Delicacy?
When you finally reach the Town Hall, enter the building, and you will come across Hyge, the secretary of the town administration of Grat. Hyge will sell various items, including the Elevator Pass, for the price of 230 red beads. Initially, it may seem like a large amount of money to part with early game, but if you sell items to traders or use the window in your store to sell prepared meals, you will gain this amount of red beads very swiftly.
After you have purchased the Elevator Pass from Hyge, the guards by the Grand Elevator will grant you access, and you can use it, whether it’s day or night, and as often as you want.
Magical Delicacy is now available on the Xbox One, Xbox X/S and PC via Steam, and it will come to the Nintendo Switch in August 2024.
