A Few Places Are Selling for Tears of the Kingdom for a Lower Price

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will cost people quite a bit, as this is the first Nintendo Switch game with a price of $69.99. While there aren’t any major sales at launch, it is possible to pay less for it. There are a number of promotions and means of getting it for around $10 less than usual.

If you’re okay with a digital copy, then a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher would work! (If your memory card has enough room, I recommend it.) For $99.98, Nintendo will give you two vouchers that can be used to acquire select games. the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is eligible, even though its price is $69.99 and most of the other applicable titles cost $59.99. Since you’d be getting two games for basically $100, that means you’d be getting it for about $50.

One way is to go to a warehouse club store with a subscription. Costco is selling physical copies of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $60, rather than the usual price of $70. It also had an online-only bundle that included a matching PowerA Switch carrying case for $74.99, but that sold out.

Sam’s Club also slightly discounted the game. It is selling a physical copy for $64.98.

If you have additional games you finished playing, you could also rely on GameStop’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trade-in promotion to “lower” the price of the game via trades and make it cost $20. However, that does mean you need to turn in two applicable games from the official list of 139 titles.

Finally, Amazon and Walmart are offering incredibly minor discounts. It is $69 flat direct from both stores. It barely makes a difference, but is below $70.
