What is the Star-Lined Sword in Elden Ring?

The Star-Lined Sword, a new katana in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, has a really cool design and is a great new weapon to pick up. To obtain this weapon, players must defeat Demi-Human Queen Marigga, who resides on the western side of the Cerulean Coast.

First, you want to head to the Cerulean Coast. This is the area south of the starting Site of Grace. You can get there by following the river southeast from Castle Ensis. Follow the path through the poison swamp, looping through some caves to get to the coast.

How do I find Demi-Human Queen Marigga to get the Star-Lined Sword in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?

Once you arrive at the Cerulean Coast, make your way westward. Your goal is to find a chasm path located in the cliffside to the northeast of the Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace. This chasm path will guide you through a canyon situated at the very northeastern section of the coast.

As you navigate through the canyon, you will eventually come upon a clearing on the beach, marked by a shipwreck. This is where you will encounter Demi-Human Queen Marigga. To be honest, not the most memorable FromSoft Boss. Even for a minor one like this.

She moves fairly slow and telegraphs all her moves. While she does start the fight with a couple of other enemies around her, she’s still not a huge threat. If you’ve made it this far into Elden Ring you’ll not have any trouble with this boss. Once you take her down, the Star-Lined Sword will be yours.

Elden Ring is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Shadow of Erdtree DLC appears on June 21, 2024.
