Silk is another invaluable crafting material in Palia, and it is required for late-game furniture recipes. This guide will not only tell you how to get silk in Palia, but will provide all the information you need to know such as the right tools and what you need to hunt to get valuable crafting materials.
How and where do I get silk in Palia?
Players can get silk in several ways. This includes making your own silk, purchasing it, or even requesting it from other players. It’s suggested that you end up making your own silk, as it’s one of the pricier ingredients and will cost you 580 Gold at the Cash Register in Tish’s Furniture Shop.
In order to craft your own silk you will need to make a Loom. A total of five silk thread are required to craft a piece of silk at a Loom. You will also need to purchase the recipe for crafting silk from Tish for 1,500 Gold. However, getting silk thread is pretty intensive as far as gathering crafting materials goes.
In order to obtain silk thread, you will need to catch rare or epic bugs. Rare bugs can give up to 7 pieces of silk thread, whereas epic bugs can give up to 15 pieces of silk thread.
These bugs include:
- Ancient Amber Beetle – Epic
- Azure Stonehopper – Rare
