Where to find something from the Ocean in Persona 3 Reload – location

Starting on 7/9, you will get Elizabeth Request 44, “I wish to feel the ocean.” If you haven’t progressed the story far enough, you might be confused about where you can get an “ocean” item for Elizabeth, given there aren’t any areas on the map near water. That is because the request is tied to an upcoming vacation that the SEES group will take at the end of July.

The ocean item for Elizbeth Request 44 can be found at Yakushima Beach in Persona 3 Reload. However, you won’t visit the ocean until 7/20, so you will have to wait a few weeks before tackling this request. Below, we will list the four items you can bring back to Elizabeth:

  • Pretty Seashell.
  • Strange Seaweed.
  • Yakushima Wood.
  • Small Crab.

Pretty Seashell

On 7/20, you can explore Yakushima once you get past several cutscenes. Once you are standing in front of the ocean, you can find the Pretty Seashell on the left side of the beach. More specifically, you will find the seashell next to several giant rocks south of the boat in the ocean.

Yakushima Wood

The Yakushima Wood can be found on the right side of the beach on the sand next to the ocean shore. You will spot the item when you come across a giant white tree log. There will also be a blue sparkling icon that is hard to miss next to it.

Strange Seaweed

The Strange Seaweed can be found towards the left-center side of the beach. More specifically, look for a wooden pier that extends into the ocean. The Strange Seaweed can be picked up if you walk into the water and interact with the right side of the pier.

Small Crab

Finally, the Small Crab can be found on the far right side of Yakushima Beach. If you walk as far as possible east, you will eventually find a “rocky area” tucked into the corner of the area. If you interact with the water that is in between the rocky formations, you will be able to pick up the Small Crab.

Which ocean item should you give Elizabeth in Persona 3 Reload?

After returning to Elizabeth, you may be surprised when the Velvet Room hostess will only take one of the Ocean items you picked up from Yakushima Beach. You aren’t alone if you were wondering which item you should give her. Are there four different rewards? Is there one ocean item that is better than the rest?

Curious myself, I saved my game and reloaded four separate times, so you don’t have to. The answer is no; there is no difference between which ocean item you give Elizabeth. Each item you turn in gives you the same exact reward, which is 5 Amethyst. So, ultimately, you really only needed to pick up one item from Yakushima Beach.
