How to Get Milk in Palworld (& Best Tips For Farming it)

Although Milk can be easily picked up from Pals in Palworld, you will need to take a few steps if you want to be able to generate it consistently in your base camp. Here is how to get Milk in Palworld and how to farm it.

Where to find Milk location in Palworld

Milk is produced from Mozzarina in Palworld. So the main way to get the food item is tracking down the Neutral-type Pal in the overworld. However, the game has a few options to acquire Milk, which we will list below:

• Catch Mozzarina (you will get an automatic drop of two to four Milk).
• Kill Mozzarina (two to four Milk can drop from taking the Pal out).
• Purchase Milk from traveling merchants or shops in settlements (inventory is random, so there is a chance the merchant won’t carry it).
• As a random reward after opening a chest in the overworld.
• Generate Milk in your base camp with Mozzarina.

However, you may quickly notice that this isn’t the most efficient way to get Milk, as you will quickly be drained of your money and time. Thankfully, there is a method that lets you generate as much Milk as you want in Palworld, which will be detailed below.

How to farm Milk in Palworld

To farm Milk in Palworld, you need to catch a Mozzarina and build a ranch at your base camp. Similar to Ingot production needing the furnace in Palworld, you will need to take a few steps before you can get your milk operation up and running.

Here’s what you need to do to farm Milk:

• Unlock the Ranch at level 5, and craft it with 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 30 Fiber.
• Catch a Mozzarina near the Ascetic Falls fast travel point.
• At your base camp, interact with your Pal Box and select “Pal Box Management.” Add your Mozzarina to an empty slot in the “Pal who is at the base” menu.
• Walk up to your Mozzarina and press “X” to pick it up. Carry it over to your ranch and drop it inside the fenced area.
• Your Mozzarina will start “grazing” automatically and drop Milk items inside the ranch.
• You may need to wait a couple of minutes before Milk will start appearing, but eventually, you should see an influx of the food items being produced at your base camp.

Palworld Mozzarina location

Mozzarina spawns into the map at around level 10, and can be found near the Ascetic Falls fast travel point. Because this is an early-game location, you can quickly track down the cow if you know where to look.

Catching Mozzarina is pretty easy since it’s so low level. I recommend using a Mega Sphere, which can be crafted with 1 Paldium Fragment, 1 Ingot, 5 Wood, and 5 Stone. Although you can actually catch it with a Pal Sphere if you get its health down low enough. Ensure you don’t accidentally knock it out once you get its health to 10%.
