How do I start Origami Bird Clash in Honkai: Star Rail?

In order to participate in Origami Bird Clash, you must first complete the new Trailblazer Mission “Farewell, Penacony.” It appeared in 2.3 alongside this new event. Once it has been completed, you will be able to participate in the activity at the Radiant Feldspar that launched in Penacony in this patch.

Origami Bird clash is a match three style game similar to Candy Crush, and you play it against an NPC. You gain points by matching three or more of the same design icons. The player with the most points wins. Each player needs to earn a certain number of points and must reach that in a limited number of moves. When you reach that objective, you will gain point buffs which can help you take down your opponent.

Both players start with 100 HP. Health will be deducted at the end of each round when the Origami Birds fight. The losing player will have HP reduced, and the amount is determined by the difference between both players’ points in the previous round. Matching four or more icons will create a bomb which takes out surrounding icons and giving you more points. If you switch a rainbow apple icon, it will take out a random selection of icons with it. You’ll also occasionally be assigned goals where if you take out a certain amount of a particular fruit (such as kiwis), a bomb will be formed. It takes out more fruit. This is how you can generate massive amounts of points.

Unlike most event games, Origami Bird Clash doesn’t let you just click on an icon to proceed to the next level. Instead, you have to find the previous one. By clicking on the next level in the game menu, you will be teleported to somewhere in Penacony, where you will have to find an Origami Bird. When you find it later in the event as time passes, the next level’s arcade machine will appear.

By defeating opponents, you will gain more Origami Birds to use. Each one has its own special powers to help you win. These Origami Birds are based off different characters like the Trailblazer and Silver Wolf. There are a total of five to unlock.

What are the Origami Bird Clash rewards?
