There are far too many different types of materials for players to gather in Lego Fortnite, which can be quite confusing. One of the more confusing materials to get is Heavy Wool, which requires players to use one of a couple of different methods to obtain it.
Where to Find Gray Sheep and Rams
There are two main ways to get Heavy Wool and it depends on your preferences. The most straightforward way is to obtain it directly from the source. You get Wool from the normal sheep in the world, while Heavy Wool comes from rams. Some people call the rams gray sheep due to their coat’s color, but they are officially known as rams.
To find rams or gray sheep or whatever you want to call them, head to one of the snowy areas in the world. These randomly generate in different places in every world so be sure to explore well to find a snowy biome. You can often find rams here, which will give you Heavy Wool if you feed it spicy peppers or a small chance if you pet it. Alternatively, you can get it from chests in snowy regions.
How to Get Heavy Wool from Villagers in Lego Fortnite
The other main method for Heavy Wool in Lego Fortnite is from your villagers. As you may know, you can assign roles to your villagers like to escort you or work. What you want to do is build a Loom and Spinning Wheel in your village. Then assign one of your villagers to work on textiles.
This will let you obtain Heavy Wool directly from your villager after a period of time passes. This saves you a nice trip and lets you focus on other activities. Just know you’ll need to spend time doing other projects in the world before you can acquire Heavy Wool from villagers.
Lego Fortnite is available right now for free on Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
