How to Get Free Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Card Packs

Pokemon TCG Pocket is a free-to-play mobile game, but you do have to pay for certain features. This includes card packs after a certain point. But if you don’t want to spend any real world currency, there are some ways to get free card packs every single day in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

How do I get free card packs daily in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket?

The first method to get free cards and booster packs is through the daily log-ins. How this works is the game graciously gives players a single free card pack every day that you log in. You can even pick between three types of booster packs: Charizard, Mewtwo, and Pikachu. Even within those three types, you can pick which pack to open from a random group.

This free daily login pack will give you five cards randomly. You can do this once per day every 24 hours. Better yet, if you get any duplicate cards for whatever reason, these will give you card points. Save up enough of these and you can trade the points in to get additional free packs without spending anything at all.

How do I get free card packs from a Premium Pass Subscription?

The other way to get free cards and booster packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket is through the premium pass subscription. This pass costs $9.99 USD a month, so you might be wondering how exactly this is a free method. Well, every player has access to a two-week free trial. You can even cancel immediately the recurring subscription after subscribing and still enjoy the benefits for 14 days.

These premium pass benefits include an extra free card pack every single day while it is active. In addition, you get premium missions as well. These, coupled with the free challenges, can give you Pack Hourglasses. This currency can be traded in to give additional booster packs. I was able to open about 20 packs the first day for free because of all of these methods together. And I still have Pack Hourglasses left over if I wanted to open more.

Pokemon TCG Pocket is available right now for free for Android and iOS devices.
