In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can get the hidden Flawed Helldusk armor set by collecting Infernal Iron. This guide will explain how to get the Flawed Helldusk armor in BG3 and where to find each of the Infernal Iron pieces needed to craft this rare set.
Where to find Flawed Helldusk armor location in BG3
The Flawed Helldsuk armor set can be crafted in Act 2 of BG3 by giving Infernal Iron to Dammon at Last Light Inn. However, getting the hidden set can be tricky, as you need to find the right items before the Tiefling Blacksmith moves on to Baldur’s Gate in the game’s later acts.
Below are the steps on how to get the Flawed Helldusk Armor in BG3:
- In BG3 Act 1, collect four Infernal Iron.
- Blighted Village – In a chest in the locked basement with the hidden Forge.
- Goblin Camp – Dror Ragzlin’s hoard behind his throne.
- Zhentarim Hideout – Beneath the Burning Inn. In a chest in a locked room with a chest.
- Grymforge – Speak to Stonemason Kith about the “Collapsed Wall” and pass all three Observation checks. Or purchase it from him by exhausting dialogue and selecting “trade.”
- Progress to Act 2 and find Dammon at the Last Light Inn. Have Karlach with you and speak to the Tiefling.
- Have Dammon Repair Karlach with 1 of the Infernal Iron (if you missed this opportunity in Act 1 at the Grove)
- Speak to Dammon again and select “Interesting Materials, what do you mean?”
- Speak to Dammon again and click “I think I found material you could work with.”
- He will then craft “Flawed Helldusk Armour” for 1 Infernal Iron piece.
- Select the dialogue option again, and he will craft a “Flawed Helldusk Helmet” for 1 Infernal Iron.
- Click the dialogue one last time. Dammon will craft “Flawed Helldusk Gloves” for 1 Infernal Iron.
BG3 Infernal Iron Locations
You want to find 4 Infernal Iron to make sure you fix Karlach first. If you decide to craft the Flawed Helldusk Armor first, you could accidentally block out Karlach’s storyline. Of course, if you don’t care about the Tiefling (your monster), you can just look for the 3 Infernal Iron and get the armor in Act 2.
BG3 Blighted Village Infernal Iron Location
The first Infernal Iron most are likely to find in BG3, is at the Blighted Village. Just west of Druid Grove, the abandoned town can be found just below the Goblin Camp. In a building north of the fast travel point, players will find a locked basement that houses a hidden Forge. If you can’t lockpick your way in, burn the cobwebs in the middle of the floor of the building to drop down. Take the ladder inside this basement and open the locked chest to get the Infernal Iron piece.
BG3 Goblin Camp Infernal Iron Location
The next Infernal Iron in Act 1 is at the Goblin Camp. At the very back of the temple is Dror Ragzlin’s throne room. However, behind the throne is Dror Ragzlin’s hoard, which has an Infernal Iron in it. To get into the treasure room, you need to either kill Dror Ragzlin or have a high enough lockpicking skill to open the giant iron door.
BG3 Zhentarim Hideout Infernal Iron Location
The third Infernal Iron in Act 1 can be found under the Burning Inn near The Risen Road. On the west side of Waukeen’s Rest is a barnyard that houses the secret Zhentarim Hideout. Once you gain access to the hidden lair, you can explore a giant cave system. At the very back of the hideout is a locked door with two chests inside. If you have a Thieves Tool on you, pick the door to get the Infernal Iron.
BG3 Grymforge Infernal Iron Location
Finally, you can get an Infernal Iron in the Grymforge in Act 1. Speak to the Stonemason Kith and choose to discuss the “Collapsed Wall.” If you pass his three observation checks he will outright give you the Infernal Iron for free. If you forgot to save and screwed this up, then you can still purchase the item from him.
