Marvel Rivals has a handful of skins, sampling from Marvel Comics’ storied history and various AUs that have spun up across the lifespan of some of their most popular comic runs. One such skin is the Cyan Clash Venom skin in Marvel Rivals, which is actually pretty difficult to obtain all things considered. This guide will break down how to obtain it.
How to get Cyan Clash Venom in Marvel Rivals
There are some similarities between Cyan Clash Venom and the symbiote’s appearance in Marvel versus Capcom 2, which makes this specific Venom skin extremely appealing to fans of Capcom’s interpretation of the iconic villain and occasional hero. Unfortunately, obtaining Cyan Clash Venom is not that easy — especially since unlocking this specific skin is locked behind getting access to the Closed Beta Test that was run from July 23 to August 4, 2024.
Additionally, you will have needed to reach Level 30 in Marvel Rival’s Battle Pass, also known as Galacta Quests. Obtaining experience for Galacta Quests can only be done through Daily Missions, which reset every 5pm PST/8pm ET/2am CET, with each Daily Mission providing 40 Galacta Quest EXP. Challenges, which can accumulate provide 120 EXP per completed challenge. However, Challenges only unlock ever 24 hours. Which means if you joined the Closed Beta Test right before it ended, you wouldn’t have enough time to unlock Cyan Clash Venom.
Unlike other skins that unlock through Galacta Quests, Cyan Clash Venom is a permanent unlock. This means that when Marvel Rivals eventually releases, those that participated in the Closed Beta Test will have this skin. As it stands, NetEase has not mentioned if this skin will become available through other means in the future. Which means if you did end up unlocking Cyan Clash Venom, you’re one in a handful of players to have this unique Venom skin.
Marvel Rivals will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
