How to Get Cotton Candy in Palworld

Cotton Candy is one of the best health items in Palworld, as it’s the only food that doesn’t spoil or degrade over time. Here is how to get Cotton Candy in Palworld and how to farm it.

The main reason players are looking for Cotton Candy in Palworld is that it’s one of the best items to keep your Pals SAN (sanity) meter from dropping. Unlike other food items that need a cooler in Palworld to not spoil, Cotton Candy does not have a spoil counter and can be kept in your inventory forever while always staying fresh.

To get Cotton Candy in Palworld, you must catch or kill Woolipop in the wild. I know what you are thinking: this Pal is way too adorable to slay just for Cotton Candy. Unfortunately, this is currently the only way to obtain it.

Where to find Woolipop location in Palworld

Woolipop can be found south of the Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon fast travel point in Palworld. The adorable sheep roams the mountains just southeast of the Alpha Relaxurus Lux boss icon on your map. The quickest way to find Woolipop is to warp to the Ascetic Falls fast travel point and then head north to the location detailed on the map below:

Woolipop specifically spawns on the mountainside in this location. If you don’t see it, leave the area and return to reset the spawns. I found using one of the flying mounts in Palworld makes this process go by much quicker, as you can quickly zip around the map until you see the Sheep spawn in. Once you see a Woolipop, attack it with a few arrows, and then throw a Mega or Giga Sphere to catch it.

Thankfully, there is a better way to farm Cotton Candy in large amounts that doesn’t involve catching or killing Woolipop repeatedly. Below, we will explain how you can set up a Cotton Candy farm that will produce an infinite amount of the health item, with little work!

How to farm Cotton Candy in Palworld

The best way to farm Cotton Candy in Palworld is to catch a Woolipop and assign it to a Ranch. Before you rush out to set this up, you must unlock the Ranch at level 5 by spending two Technology Points on the Technology menu.

After you obtain the Woolipop and the Ranch, here are the steps you can take to farm Cotton Candy:

• After reaching level 5, Craft a Ranch with 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 30 Fiber.
• Select a Woolipop at your Pal Box, and assign it to an empty slot in the “Pal who is at the base” menu.
• Once the Woolipop spawns in your base camp, pick it up and throw it inside your Ranch fence to assign it to the structure.
• Wait a few minutes while your Woolipop is “grazing,” and eventually, it will drop a Cotton Candy on the ground.
• Set up a Wood Box nearby, and assign a Pal with “Transportation” as a skill to your camp.
• Leave your camp and return a few hours later, and you will have a box full of Cotton Candy that will continue to be filled up over time.

You may have to wait an hour or two before you start getting a lot of Cotton Candy. To increase the rate at which you get the health item, try assigning multiple Woolipop to your Ranch. Most importantly, just be patient; this is a passive farm that will continue to grow you Cotton Candy as you play the game.

In my playthrough, I got over 100 Cotton Candy within an hour. This number also skyrocketed fairly quickly as the number of Cotton Candy being produced snowballed over time. After spending over 100 hours in the game, I pretty much have more Cotton Candy than I know what to do with.

Pals that drop Cotton Candy in Palworld

As stated earlier, currently, Woolipop is the only Pal that drops Cotton Candy in Palworld. Perhaps future updates will add more Pals that can produce it, or we might get merchants that eventually sell it. But for now, Woolipop is the only one.

• Woolipop (catching or killing the Pal has a chance to drop two to four Cotton Candy).

It’s not really worth farming Woolipop as you will obtain Cotton Candy much quicker by just assigning the pink Pal to your Base’s Ranch. However, Woolipop is one of the few creatures that drops High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld, so if you are farming for that ingredient anyway, you can also pick up some Cotton Candy at the same time.
