Where to Find Bittybolt in Moonstone Island

Like other Electric types, Bittybolt can be found on any Electric island in Moonstone Island. These are the brownish islands that features trees shaped like lightning bolts. Finding them is usually easy, but staying alive is less simple as lightning persistently strikes your character while you’re here. If you don’t already have protection from this, I’d advise getting it. If not, bring plenty of stamina boosting items instead.

Bittybolt is a rare occurrence on these islands, but if you see a large round tiger walking around, jump into battle with it. It can be found at a range of different levels, depending on which island you visit. The closer to Moonstone Island you are, the easier it is to deal with. Bittybolt can sometimes be seen in battles with other Spirits, but it’s much less likely.

It’s not clear if it’s possible to increase the chances of Bittybolt appearing. For me, I only ever saw one show up per day, although it may be possible to find more if you travel to other islands. So if you miss one or accidentally knock it out, finding another electric island may be your best option.

What Skills Does Bittybolt Have?

Bittybolt’s initial cards are mostly the standard cards you’d get with most Electric types, with one exception. My initial deck contained two Flip Switch cards, which are highly damaging and attack multiple times. It’s not the most useful on the surface, but this high damage output combined with its passive ability can be potentially deadly.

Energy Efficient is Bittybolt’s special passive ability, as it essentially makes adding Charge to your attacks free. It makes all Charge cards free if there are at least three in your hand. Initially Bittybolt only starts out with a single card of this kind, but adding more to the deck as it levels up is a huge boost. With this ability, you can stack Charge until the boost is lost, and combined with the Flip Switch, the damage will be boosted significantly.

This is also helped by the initial Inspiration and Follow Up cards Bittybolt can come with, as these allow you to draw Skill cards and play them for free. Most Charge building cards are Skill Cards, so using those two cards can see you building an arsenal of Charge, and these cards will become free even without the passive ability, allowing you to use them after the boon runs out.

In other words, Bittybolt is a brilliant Spirit to bring along to your battles. It’s a solid Spirit in its own right, but these specific cards can turn it into something devastating. Plus it’s an adorable squishy tiger, and who can say no to having that following them around everywhere they go?

Moonstone Island is out now for PC and Switch.
