How to Get and Use Rroneek Fleece in FFXIV Dawntrail

There are many new crafting materials for players to collect in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, each of which is used in various crafting recipes. One of the most valuable new materials in FFXIV Dawntrail, especially for my fellow Weavers, is the Rroneek Fleece. Here’s how to get and use this fleece.

How to Obtain Rroneek Fleece

There are four main ways to get Rroneek Fleece in this game. It will depend on how much time and Gil on your hands. Here are all four of the ways to get Rroneek Fleece at this time in the fifth expansion:

• Purchase from FATE Bicolor Gemstones Vendors in Tuliyollal, Shaaloani, or Solution Nine for three Gemstones each
• Loot from dead Rroneek around Shaaloani X: 21.7, Y: 10.3
• Level 96 or higher Hunting Retainer Ventures
• Market Board

If you don’t want to spend any currency or money, your best bet is to take on the level 96 Rroneek in Shaaloani. But if you want the fastest method and don’t mind spending some Gil, I suggest hitting up the Market Board. Just know that the prices could fluctuate so it might be worth visiting other worlds and Data Centers.

All Rroneek Fleece Crafting Recipes in FFXIV Dawntrail

Once you have your hands on some Rroneek Fleece in FFXIV Dawntrail, it is time to craft with it. At the time of writing, there is only one crafting recipe for the Rroneek Fleece and it is for Weavers. However, this single crafting recipe below paves the way for many other valuable crafting recipes:

• Rroneek Serge (Weaver Level 96): 4 Rroneek Fleece and 8 Lightning Crystals

You can then use that Rroneek Serge to make more than 50 different items or sell it on the Market Board for quick cash.
