What to Use Musubi for

Musubi is a resource you mainly use to upgrade the villager roles. You can do this by heading to the tent at any of the main bases you are at. There, speak with Yoshiro and there is an option to go to Musubi Upgrades. It is here that you are able to upgrade the various villager roles you have currently unlocked.

In general, each upgrade usually costs 5 or more Musubi to unlock. Every single role can be upgraded to have higher health, deal more damage, or even unlock special skills. If you are struggling in stages or boss fights, this is one of the best ways to ensure you are getting the most out of your villager teammates.

How to Get More Musubi in Kunitsu-Gami

But, of course, if you want to upgrade your villagers’ roles, you’ll need to get plenty of Musubi in Kunitsu-Gami beforehand. There are a couple of ways to get Musubi, including sometimes as rewards for completing stages or boss fights. However, the main way to get it is through repairing the villages and locations you come across.

Every time you liberate a village and set up base here, it is now time to repair the location. Some repair sites give you Ema Plaques, while others give you Musubi. You can see the reward before starting the repair job so just look for the Musubi ones and prioritize them. You’ll need to assign villagers to work the repair job and complete as many stages as necessary for time to pass and the job to finish to get your reward.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
