How to Find Vaeric’s Location in Starfield Conflict in Conviction

Your task to find the missing Vaeric begins at the Herald’s Rest bar in the main city of Dazra. Here, there are only three named NPCs in the small bar and you need to speak to all of them. If you have a good persuasion build, what you can do is easily persuade all three of them to reveal some info about Vaeric. If you do this, you’ll easily reveal his location.

That said, if you don’t have good persuasion, just try and talk to all three. After this, another NPC Tane will appear. You’ll need to pay 1,000 credits to Tane to get Vaeric’s location this way. Now, what you need to do is use the tracker this way. How it works is it beeps really fast when you are facing in the right direction so head that way. But if you don’t want to waste time, check the map screenshot I provided for the Abandoned Camp. This will lead you on a trail but with some helpful quest markers to find Vaeric at a farm.

Should You Kill or Spare Vaeric in Shattered Space?

Once you finally find Vaeric at his camp in Starfield Shattered Space Conflict in Conviction, it is time to deal with him. You have three options for how to resolve this issue. First, you can persuade him to return home, which he doesn’t want. Get his Signet Ring as proof of his death but spare him and let him run off to live his own life. Finally, you can kill him and take the Signet Ring.

Personally, I prefer the second option to spare Vaeric and let him live his life. You can get his Signet Ring to complete your quest and even persuade him for an extra 10,000 credits to boot for sparing him. But if you like the evil route, the other two options work.

Starfield: Shattered Space is available right now for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
