How to Find the Palico from Monster Hunter in Astro Bot

All of the Monster Hunter fans out there will be happy to know that there is some love for them in PlayStation’s platformer darling Astro Bot. The adorable Palico cat companion character from the Monster Hunter series is available as a cameo bot in Astro Bot for players to rescue fairly deep into the game.

What World Is the Palico in?

If you want to rescue the Palico, you’ll want to look in the Camo Cosmos section of the game. More specifically, you can find Palico within the Bubbling Under stage. This is one of the biggest missions in the game. After all, it is the core underwater one, so there are lots of bots here besides just Palico.

Where to Find the Palico from Monster Hunter in Astro Bot

Once you enter Bubbling Under, you will be able to rescue the Palico from Monster Hunter in Astro Bot. Bubbling Under is one of the larger stages in this game. As such, you want to progress until you have reached the point underwater where you have found the third puzzle piece in the level. Near the third puzzle piece is this green scaly monster in the cave wall that will suck in little Astro Bot.

Here, you will have to deal with a short mini-platforming section in the middle of this stage. All it really has are a couple of spiky little creatures you need to avoid. Just jump or jet around them and you shouldn’t have too much of an issue with this particular section.

At the back of the mouth of the strange monster creature, there is a vine with the Palico dangling from it. As always, jump up and smack the bot to knock it loose. This will rescue the Palico and add them to your ever-growing collection. In this game, the Palico has the bot name Cat-Like Companion.
