How to Find the Fishmonger For Strohl in Metaphor: ReFantazio

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, at some point while helping Strohl with his personal problems, he asks that you search for a fishmonger his father used to visit in Grand Trad. If you don’t find this fishmonger, you won’t be able to progress through Strohl’s story. Thankfully, with some sleuthing, it’s not too hard to find the guy.

This occurs at Rank 5 of Strohl’s follower story and you’ll need to find the fishmonger for him in order to progress to Rank 6. Here’s how you can find him:

  • Go to Sunlumeo Street in Grand Trad.
  • There’s a fishmonger wearing an orange shirt and checkered purple pants a few stalls down from the water merchant. Once you draw near, a cutscene will start.

  • Talk to the fishmonger, who will then direct you to another one.
  • Go to the Regalith Grand Cathedral (the main entrance and not the entrance to the basement).
  • The fishmonger you’re looking for is a rhoag fellow who’s standing to the right of the water merchant.

In order to get this guy to talk to you, you’ll need Level 3 Imagination. After you get the information you need, you can go to Strohl and then proceed to the next part of his story. Mind that it will take up a segment of your day, so if you have something else you’d like to do, you might want to hold off going to Strohl until you’re free.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
