Lego Fortnite is full of many different materials for players to find, including some rather obscure ones. One of the more obscure and challenging materials is Frostpine, which players can only find in Lego Fortnite in a certain location. To make matters worse, you also need a certain item to obtain it.
Where to Find Frostpine in Lego Fortnite
There is only one location in the entire map where you are able to find Frostpine, and that is in the Frostlands biome. This is the snowy biome you can find in your world. The unfortunate part about this is that every world seed is completely different from one another. You might spawn in the Frostlands or it might be way on the other side from you. Regardless, you are looking for the trees in the Frostlands, which are, thankfully, quite common there.
The tricky part about Frostpine is you can’t just hack and slash away at the tree to obtain it with any old axe. You need an Epic rarity axe better if you want to get Frostpine. To make matters worse, you will constantly take damage from the cold in the Frostlands if you don’t prepare by eating Spicy Peppers or other warm food.
How to Craft an Epic Axe in Lego Fortnite
Before you ever try to venture into the Frostlands in Lego Fortnite to find some Frostpine, you need to craft an Epic axe first. To do this, you’re going to need to get your Crafting Bench to level four or higher. This requires obtaining materials such as the following to upgrade your Crafting Bench:
- Level 2 Crafting Bench: 3 Shells, 8 Planks
- Level 3 Crafting Bench: 3 Sand Shells, 6 Sand Claws, 12 Knotrood Rods, and 15 Marble Slabs
- Crafting Bench Level 4: 1 Brute Scale, 15 Copper Bars, and 25 Obsidian Slabs
Then once you upgrade your Crafting Bench, you can make an Epic version of an axe with the following materials: three Knotroot Rods and three Copper Bars. These should be quite easy to acquire at this point since you already need those materials to upgrade your Crafting Bench in the first place.
Lego Fortnite is available for free right now for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
