Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Story quests are now live, and to start them, you need to activate one of the game’s Scrying Pools. This guide will explain how to find and use a Scrying Pool in Fortnite so you can start the Oracle’s Snapshot questline.
All Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite
To start the Oracle’s Snapshot quest in Fortnite, you must find and activate the new Scrying Pool mechanic during a match. The fountains give you access to the Greek Mythical gods that have invaded the battle royale in Chapter 5 Season 2. There are a total of four Scrying Pool locations in Fortnite that you can visit to kick off this Story quest.
Below, we have provided a map and a list of the areas where you can find a Scrying Pool:
- Mount Olympus.
- Northwest of Reckless Railways.
- Southwest of Pleasant Piazza.
- The Underworld.
How to use a Scrying Pool in Fortnite to speak with the Oracle
Finding each location is only half the battle, though, as you must also know how to use a Scrying Pool to start the Oracle Snapshot quest. From my matches, I found the easiest Scrying Pool to reach southwest of Pleasant Piazza. The fountain can be found at the northern tip of the lake below Piazza. Once your match starts, drop from the battle bus and dive towards the lake.
After landing next to the blue fountain, walk up and press “X” (PlayStation) or “A” (Xbox) to use the Scrying Pool. Once you interact with the fountain, it’s important you actually select the “continue” dialogue button that pops up in the scroll wheel menu. If you just activate the Scrying Pool, that isn’t enough. To speak to the Oracle, you must confirm this in the menu.
And that’s it! You have now completed step 1 of 14 of the Oracle’s Snapshot quest in Fortnite. Yep, you read that right; you now have 13 more steps to go! However, once you find and use a Scrying Pool, the game will automatically unlock the next steps for you to complete in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 questline.
Fortnite is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, mobile and PC.
