A new Allied Society (formerly known as the Tribe Quests) is now available for players to check out in FFXIV Patch 7.1. This time around, the focus is on the Pelupelu clan that players meet during the Dawntrail expansion. As always, there are some prerequisites and specific locations of where to start the Pelupelu Allied Society Quests in FFXIV.
Prerequisites for Pelupelu Allied Society, Explained
One of the most notorious parts of the Allied Society and Tribe Quests in the past has been the lengthy side quest chains you often have to do to even unlock them. Fortunately, I can tell you right now that the Pelupelu, or Turali Travel Agency as it is known, Allied Society is completely different.
There are only two requirements you need for this particular Allied Society. The first of these is you must complete the Main Scenario Quest “Dawntrail.” This is the final quest of the expansion. Once you do that, you only need to have a level 90 or higher Disciple of War or Magic. Since you already did the MSQ, you would, of course, have that other requirement met.
Where to Start Pelupelu Allied Society Quests in FFXIV
Once you are ready, head to Tuliyollal to begin the Pelupelu Turali Travel Agency Allied Society Quests in FFXIV Patch 7.1. You want to speak with the Blue-garbed Pelu in Tuliyollal at the exact coordinates of X: 13.6, Y: 12.9. The closest Aethernet Shard is the one for the markets so just head there.
I highly recommend using a level 90 or higher job that isn’t level 100 yet so you can take full advantage of the XP rewards from these quests because they are quite good. Follow this straightforward quest known as “An Intrepid New Enterprise” and you will just need to talk to three NPCs and make a few choices that don’t matter much, so go with your gut.
This will lead you to the new location of Dock Poga in Kozama’uka. This has a new Aetheryte and everything for you here. This introductory quest will unlock the ability to do three daily Allied Society Quests. I also highly recommend unlocking the Aether Currents in Kozama’uka or else it will take you far too long to do these quests every day.
Final Fantasy XIV is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
