How to find all of Percy’s feathers in A Bird’s Tail in WoW

Reshad returns for WoW’s 20th Anniversary event with the “A Bird’s Tail” quest, which tasks players to uncover what Percy has been up to in Draenor. This guide contains everything you need to track down all four of Percy’s feathers, including TomTom coordinates, helpful maps, and in-game screenshots to make your journey through time (and universes) a breeze.

All feather locations for A Bird’s Tail in World of Warcraft

Firstly, pick up the quest “A Bird’s Tale” from Alyx in WoW’s 20th Anniversary celebration area. Then, hand it into Reshad to start the “A Bird’s Tail” quest. From here, you need to head to Draenor to find Percy’s feathers.

To get to Draenor, use your Garrison Hearthstone (if you own it) or take the portal to Ashran in Orgrimmar or Stormwind’s portal room. Unlike most other Secrets of Azeroth quests, you must collect Percy’s feathers in order.

Burnt Feather — Spires of Arak

The first feather is in Spires of Arak, located at the very top of Windswept Terrace. To collect it, click on the Burnt Feather resting on the flaming sundial.

Plucked Feather — Talador

The next feather is in Talador, west of Shattrath City in Shattrath Overlook. To find the Plucked Feather, look for it atop a rock near the border on a small patch of grass.

Frozen Feather — Nagrand

The Frozen Feather is in Nagrand, perched atop a tall rocky formation overlooking the mushroom area in the northeast. However, don’t forget that this is Nagrand in Draenor — not Nagrand in Outland. Timelines, eh?

Normal Feather — Frostfire Ridge

The fourth and final feather is in Frostfire Ridge. Head to the Frostwall (Horde) Shipyard, then look for the Normal Feather on the side of the small mountain next to the lava.

This feather is in the same place for both Horde and Alliance, but it’s much more accessible for fellow Horde players due to being outside our Garrison. Sorry, Allies!

Once you’ve collected all four feathers, return to WoW’s 20th Anniversary Celebration area and hand talk to Reshad to complete “A Bird’s Tail” and receive 5 Bronze Celebration Tokens. Additionally, completing this quest also finishes the “The Case of a Feathered Friend” step of the “Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager achievement.
