How to Evolve Hisuian Qwilfish into Overqwil in Pokemon GO

Some Hisuian Pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Arceus found their way into Pokemon GO. Among them is Hisuian Qwilfish. This is a unique regional form known for being a dark and poison-type Pokemon in the series. Normally, a Qwilfish is a poison and water-type. It is also unusual in that it can evolve. That takes a bit of doing in the mobile game, just like Feebas. So, here’s how you get a Hisuian Qwilfish to evolve into Overqwil in Pokemon GO.

If there’s not a special event, it will be more difficult than usual to find a Hisuian Qwilfish. They aren’t exactly common. It has shown up in eggs before during special events. Since you will need 50 Qwilfish candy for one, make sure you use Pinap berries while catching to earn more. You also get one candy for every 3km (about two miles) you walk with it as your buddy.

This is the part that can take a few days. First, you need to set Hisuian Qwilfish as your buddy. Then, you need to find and take part in 10 Raids. A gauge fills when you do.
