How to End ‘The Bourgeois Boy’ Octopath Traveler 2 Side Story

So there’s this brat in New Delsta. On main street, next to the inn, a Wealthy Boy will basically keep taking your grapes and plums and paying you next to nothing for them. However, just giving him what he wants won’t end “The Bourgeois Boy” side story in Octopath Traveler 2. No, you need to get his father involved to end it.

Okay, to start off this quest, you first need to go through the Wealthy Boy’s ridiculous quest chain once. You’ll need to have a Healing Grape and an Inspiriting Plum on hand. (You’ll only get 5 leaves for the grape and 24 leaves for the plum.)

Leave and go to Canalbrine’s church. The Wealthy Boy’s Father is there complaining about him. He’ll be around during the day or night, so anyone who can Allure, Befriend, Guide, or Hire can bring him along. I had Ochette hire him in exchange for a Quality Jerky.

Bring the Wealthy Boy’s Father to New Delsta to talk to the Wealthy Boy. That will end “The Bourgeois Boy” Octopath Traveler 2 side story for good and get you 9,000 leaves and a Sharp Nut (M).
