How to Discover and Build a Campsite in Atelier Yumia

One of the defining features of Atelier Yumia is the ability to build throughout the world. You are able to build bases or even campsites for your party to hang out at. Unfortunately, the game makes it quite confusing how to unlock and build campsites in the first place. Here’s how to build a campsite in Atelier Yumia.

How to Unlock Campsites

You might notice campsites in this game first when I did, which is when you are asked by the boss of the expedition team to raise your rating for the first region of the main story known as Ligneus. One of the objectives you can do for the Pioneering Effort is build a campsite, which is possibly why you are looking this up.

Here’s the catch, though: you aren’t able to build a campsite in Ligneus until you reach 10% in the Pioneering Efforts. So, it is a sort of problematic situation. You aren’t able to fulfill this objective until you reach 10%, so you will have to fulfill the other tasks first to get that 10% and unlock the camping set recipe as a reward.

How to Discover and Build a Campsite in Atelier Yumia

Once you unlock the campsite set recipe, you just need to head back to the Atelier to craft a campsite in Atelier Yumia. Once you create the campsite set, you then need to discover a campsite itself before you can build one. You can’t just build a campsite anywhere; it has to be the specific designated locations.

That said, the easiest campsite to find is the one in the screenshot above. It is in the Ligneus region and not too far away from where the main story will take you. You can open up the radial menu by holding down the left or right bumper and selecting the campsite set option. It is here in this small campsite square that you are able to customize and build to your heart’s content.
