Lego Fortnite has some new items for players to collect, which expand the possibilities for upgrading your equipment. There are now Runes available in Lego Fortnite for players to use on weapons and other items, but only if they have found some Tomes first. Fortunately, I have your back with how to craft and find both of these new items.

How to Craft Runes in Lego Fortnite

To make Runes, there are a couple of key factors you need to worry about. The first is you need a Rune Forge. This is a relatively new station in the Lost Isles update that was previously known as the Essence Table. You just need to build it, which you may already have if you had the Essence Table before.

In addition, you need Tomes. These allow you to read them and learn various Rune recipes. You can then take any weapon, like a Longsword, or some tools to the Rune Forge and apply up to three Runes to them. It costs essence to do this, which you can earn from doing anything in the game from destroying trees to defeating enemies and more.

Where to Find Tomes in Lego Fortnite

The key part about crafting Runes in Lego Fortnite is finding Tomes first. You see, each Tome you read randomly gives you a new Rune you can use at the Rune Forge. If you don’t find the one you’re looking for, you’ll have to read more Tomes. To find Tomes, head to the Lost Isles by going to any nearby bus station.

For better or worse, you can find Tomes anywhere in the Lost Isles area. You can find them randomly when defeating enemies and in treasure chests. There is no one specific way or place to find them so do as much exploration as you can. If you are in the Sandbox mode, you can also find Tomes within the Codex in the Inventory menu.

Lego Fortnite is available right now for free for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
