How to Craft Lego Fortnite Muskets, Pistols, and Cannons

The Lost Isles update is live in LEGO Fortnite, adding a great deal of tools, toys, and more. Among these is a collection of pirate-themed items perfect for players interested in going on swashbuckling adventures, or just looking to try out something new. The Pirate Musket, Flint-Knock Pistol, and Cannon are available to those who want to indulge in the pirate’s life, but they’ll have to unlock the recipes to make them first. Here’s how to craft LEGO Fortnite muskets, flint-knock pistols, and cannons.

Crafting the Pirate Musket and Flint-Knock Pistol

It’s possible to find these items by defeating the pirates on the Lost Isles, but the versions they drop won’t have much durability and thus break easily. Crafting the musket and pistol is the best way to obtain both, guaranteeing you get the most use out of them. There are various rarities that the musket and pistol can be crafted at. To unlock those recipes, you just need to find specific items that are part of the recipe. The easiest of these are the common recipes, which just require you to collect mahogany wood found on the Lost Isles.

The recipe for the common Flint-Knock Pistol is as follows:

• 2 x Mahogany
• 1 x Mahogany Rod
• 1 x Cord
• 1 x Blast Powder

The recipe for the common Pirate Musket is as follows:

• 3 x Mahogany
• 2 x Mahogany Rod
• 1 x Cord
• 1 x Blast Powder

Blast Powder is the hardest of these to acquire, requiring you to find coal in the mountains to unlock the recipe. Alternatively, you can fight pirates (and pirate skeletons) on the Lost Isles to farm Blast Powder quickly. Once you have your ingredients, take them over to a crafting bench and make your items!

Crafting the LEGO Fortnite Cannon

Cannons are a toy item allowing players to shoot cannonballs and themselves in a single direction at various heights. The cannon and cannonballs recipe unlocks after picking up your first blast powder. It might prove useful to work towards your musket and pistol first! Once you’ve unlocked the recipe for cannons and cannonballs, you’ll need six planks and three copper bars to build your cannon. After it’s built, interact with the cannon from its front to get inside, adjust the height of your shot with the ‘W’ and ‘S’ keys, and click to fire away!
