How to Complete the Ghost Actor Quest in Honkai: Star Rail

The Ghost Actor quest in Honkai: Star Rail is a secret side quest hidden away on the Xianzhou Luofu. In this short quest, you can gain some ancient opera knowledge from a ghost, as well as some additional rewards.

Where do I find the Ghost Actor quest in Honkai: Star Rail?

The Ghost Actor quest can be found in the Fyxestroll Garden area of the Xianzhou Luofu. Ideally, you should complete the Sojourners’ Ghastly Reverie Trailblaze Continuance before seeking this out, as it’ll be much easier to move around Fyxestroll Garden.

You can find the Ghost Actor near the Pavilion of Cessation Corridor Anchor. There’s even a hint to this quest’s presence in the Anchor’s description, which mentions “ongoing operatic performances” in the Pavilion of Fragrance. This pavilion is found opposite the ghost-hunting squad’s meeting place (right next to the Anchor). Simply follow the east bridge around and you’ll find a screen you can investigate.

The ghost actor will appear and talk to you about the most famous Zhuming flower-drum opera, Wedding Wine. She will also offer to teach you the opera. Simply accept the offer by selecting “I’ll learn from you” and she’ll tell you to return “another time” which means waiting a day before returning.

How Do You Complete the Ghost Actor Quest in Honkai: Star Rail?

After a day has passed, return to the Ghost Actor and she’ll jump straight into the teaching. Pay close attention to the lines of the play because she will only recite them once. Now you’ll need to deliver the same lines back to her perfectly. Any mistakes will be punished with a battle.

If you weren’t paying attention, or your memory’s bad, here are the lines you need to respond with:

• To be known by you, my love, in return.
• My bones the wick, my flesh the fragrance’s call.
• In hibiscus tent, our passions shall transpire.
• Come tomorrow, you’ll take your flight.

Successfully completing the opera will reward you with Lost Gold Fragments, Strale and Credits. In addition, you’ll unlock the Mountain of Recto, Water of Verso achievement, which provides 5 Stellar Jades.
