How to Complete ‘Spy in the Jungle’ in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

One of the many new side gigs players can tackle in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is the “Spy in the Jungle” mission. This side quest comes from the always helpful and rewarding Mr. Hands who gives players this quest to find a missing man. To unlock this quest in the first place, you must progress through the game until you complete the mission “The Damned.”

How to Complete the Cyberpunk 2077 “Spy in the Jungle” Gig

Note: Full spoilers lie ahead for this side gig.

Once you unlock this Cyberpunk 2077 quest from Mr. Hands, he will let you know about a man who has gone missing and some agents looking for him. Head to the location from the quest in the southwestern part of Dogtown to begin this quest.

This map shows you exactly where to go:

Here’s everything you need to do:

  1. Go to the Paradise hotel Mr. Hands tells you about to the second floor and enter room 203.
  2. Speak with the agents inside to learn about the missing man.
  3. Head to Organitopia and take out the enemies guarding the place.
  4. Look for the shutters on your left inside the facility and have at least three Body attribute points to open it.
  5. Interact with the marked panel to get further inside.
  6. Listen to agent Mark’s instructions and either sneak past the enemies in Organitopia or eliminate all of them.
  7. Go to the second floor and take on the mini-boss Boris.
  8. After defeating Boris, head upstairs into the office to meet a stranger.
  9. Either let Katya live or kill her for the biomonitor.
  10. Leave the facility and either use a drop box for Steven or take it to Ana to complete the side gig.

There are two key choices here. The first one dealing with Katya is the most important one. I highly recommend letting her live since this unlocks the extra side gig “Money for Nothing” and some additional rewards. As for the second option, it is up to you. Giving the biomonitor to Ana gives you $6,000 instead of $4,000 but you’ll get on Steven’s bad side in the process. I, personally, went for the dropbox for that choice but either works.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
