How to Complete Not Ready on Set and The Show Must Go On in World of Warcraft

The “Not Ready and Set” and “The Show Must Go On” Secrets of Azeroth quests take us back to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands — for better or worse. This guide covers traveling to Ardenweald in The War Within, finding Dapperdew, and locating all the missing props in Starlight Amphitheater.

Not Ready on Set: How to get to Ardenweald in World of Warcraft

“Not Ready on Set” requires you to visit Dapperdew in Ardenweald, a zone in the Shadowlands. In order to get to Ardenweald, you can either:

• Use the portal to Oribos in Stormwind or Orgrimmar’s portal room, then use the flightmaster upstairs to fly to Ardenweald.
• Take the portal to Millenia’s Threshold in Dornogal (52.73, 38.74), then use the portal to Ardenweald. [Note: This method is only available during The War Within Season One.]

If you’re reading this after The War Within Season One, you may need to complete part of the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands leveling campaign to unlock the Ardenweald flightpath. However, you can have a buddy or two summon you there if they’re willing.

Dapperdew is at Star Lake Amphitheatre, just like the (debatably) good ‘ol days. Talk to him to complete “Not Ready on Set”, then pick up the follow-up quest, “The Show Must Go On.”

The Show Must Go On: How to Find the amphitheatre props

“The Show Must Go On” requires you to find the missing props around the amphitheater requested by Dapperdew. To find the props with in-game directions, use the following TomTom Coordinates:

Mask of the Trickster

The first missing prop is the Mask of the Trickster. To find it, turn away from Dapperdew, walk forward until you’re out of the main stage area, and then turn right. The mask is behind the barrier, next to the pink light.

Play Script

Next, head backstage and up the ramp on the right, then pick up the Play Script on the furthest table.

Prop Sword

The Prop Sword is behind the bench farthest from the amphitheater stage, which is situated directly underneath the Winter Queen’s throne. If you didn’t play World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, that’s the colossal chair overlooking the stage.

Conductor’s Baton

Finally, you need to collect the Conductor’s Baton, which is in front of the drum across from Master Clerk Salorn in the southwest.

Once the Mask of the Trickster, Play Script, Prop Sword, and Conductor’s Baton have been found, return to Dapperdew to complete The Show Must Go On and receive 5 Bronze Celebration Tokens. Finishing this Quest also completes the “The Case of Staged Disaster” section of the “Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager” Achievement.
