“Nola’s Last Wish” is a touching quest in WoW’s 20th Anniversary evening, which pays tribute to her late voice actress, Maryann Strossner, and her iconic lines in Battle for Azeroth. This guide covers everything you need to know to complete the quest and lead an old turtle to the water.

Nola’s Last Wish (The Case of an Old Soul) Full Walkthrough

Pick up “Nola’s Last Wish” from Alyx in WoW’s 20th Anniversary Celebration area, then talk to Lashk to learn the news about Nola. From here, you need to head to Vol’dun in Zandalar.

Horde players can quickly get to Zandalar by taking the portal to Zuldazar. Alliance players who have played through the Battle for Azeroth campaign can take the boat to Zandalar in Boralus. Alternatively, an Alliance-friendly boat in the Echo Isles (Kalimdor) takes you straight there.

If you’re interested, Elder Kuppaka at Tortaka Refuge provides some extra information, but you can skip ahead to picking up the clue needed for the quest.

To find Nola’s Last Wish (the item, not the quest!), head to Tortaka Refuge in Vol’dun. Look for the small Tortollan encampment overlooking the naga area, then pick up Nola’s Last Wish among the scrolls.

Use Nola’s Last Wish in Zuldazar

Next, it’s time to fulfill Nola’s last request by attending an underwater celebration. Fly to the western coast of Zuldazar and dive underwater to a gathering of Tortollans. Next, stand in the middle of the gathering and use Nola’s Last Wish to summon her spirit.

Finally, talk to Scrollsage Nala, who asks you to let Lashk know that “this old Tortollan has made it to the water.” Who’s cutting onions in here?

Return to Lask in WoW’s 20th Anniversary Celebration area to hand in ” the quest and receive 5 Bronze Celebration Tokens. Completing this quest also ticks off the “The Case of an Old Soul” part of the “Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager” Achievement.
