How to Complete Elusive Tumbleweeds in LOZ Echoes of Wisdom

Once you reach Gerudo Town in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll be able to take an “Elusive Tumbleweeds” sidequest involving a resident who is desperate to see a tumbleweed up close. The thing is, you can’t touch one or use an echo to grab one. Here’s how to bring one of these delicate items directly to the citizen.

How do I get a tumbleweed for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom “Elusive Tumbleweeds” quest?

This is one that actually took me a minute to figure out, because my mind didn’t go to the obvious answer. Next to the western gate to Gerudo Town, you’ll find a woman who is hoping to see a tumbleweed. She even explains that she hasn’t been able to do this herself, as they are far too delicate to touch! She’ll ask if you can help somehow.

First, here’s a screenshot of the area. The “Elusive Tumbleweeds” sidequest is highlighted, so you can see where it is in Gerudo Town in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. I marked with blue Xs the two spots just outside of town where tumbleweeds can spawn.

The trick is to bind one of them to Zelda with Tri. These are one of the items in the game that supports that. So walk up to one, get as close as possible, and throw Tri with X. It will attach. I then recommend going through the south gate to town, walking through the wider spaces, and bringing it to the Gerudo who wanted to see one.

After you do, you’ll be rewarded with two Might Crystals.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available for the Nintendo Switch
