Where to change appearance in Rise of the Ronin

Just like in real life, we all crave a change in appearance now and then. Maybe it’s a new hairstyle, a couple of tattoos, or a fresh makeup look. Well, in Rise of the Ronin, you’re in luck, as you can revamp your look whenever the mood strikes. No need to worry about getting tired of the look you picked at the beginning of a 50-hour journey.

To change your appearance in Rise of the Ronin, you’ll need to unlock your first Longhouse. After completing the initial missions, you’ll score access to one. Inside, you can rest, mingle with allies, and, most importantly, give yourself a makeover. Inside the longhouse, navigate to the “relax” menu. Choose “appearance,” and you’ll be taken back to the character creation screen.

From there, you can adjust every detail of your character to your liking – whether it’s changing their hairstyle, adding tattoos, or even altering their height. It’s all up to you!

Can you Change Gender in Rise of the Ronin?

In Rise of the Ronin, you can choose between a masculine or feminine body type when creating your character. But, if you were wondering, yes, you can switch your gender in Rise of the Ronin at any time! Head over to the longhouses, and you can tweak not only your body type but even your voice to match. It’s all about customizing your character to fit your style.

Thankfully, you’re not just limited to editing your own character in these moments. You can completely overhaul your Blade Twin’s look, too – from appearance to gender to voice and everything in between. So, if you’re aiming for that perfect symmetry between the two, go ahead and make those tweaks to your heart’s content!

Having the ability to make these adjustments will ease your mind and hopefully get you into the game faster. No need to invest hours in character creation; you can refine your character as you progress.

Rise of the Ronin is available exclusively on the PS5.
