With the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update overhauling the entire game, players may want to edit the look of their character before jumping back into Night City. Thankfully, CD Projekt RED has given us a customization feature that makes it easy to edit V’s look at any time. Here is how to change appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.
Where do I change my character appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0?
We’ve all been there, where we start a new game only to find out our custom protagonists look nothing like how they appeared in the character creator. This isn’t a problem in Night City, though, as you can edit V’s look with just a few clicks. To change your appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0, you need to head to V’s apartment in Watson and use the mirror in the bathroom.
Below, I have provided a map where you can find the change appearance feature in Cyberpunk 2077:
Once you enter V’s apartment, simply walk up to the bathroom mirror and select the Change Appearance prompt. This will then load up the Cyberpunk 2077 character creator, where you can edit your V to your heart’s content. The customization feature doesn’t cost anything to use either and allows you to change anything from hairstyle to eye color.
Can I change my character’s gender in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0?
Although the CD Projekt RED’s RPG is known for its vast customization, you can not change your gender in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. Although you have access to the full character creator at any time, your gender is locked once you have created your V and started the game. So make sure to choose wisely when making your character for the first time!
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. The Phantom Liberty DLC will be released on September 26.
