How to Catch Yok Huy Pleco and Qor Piraruco in FFXIV Dawntrail

The Wachumeqimeqi Deliveries are the new form of story-like quests for crafters and gatherers in FFXIV Dawntrail. For my fellow Fishers out there, you have your own set of quests that include collecting some quite challenging specimen. If you want to know how to catch Yok Huy Pleco and Qor Piraruco in FFXIV Dawntrail, you’re in the right place.

How to Catch Yok Huy Pleco in Dawntrail

First up is Yok Huy Pleco, which is a level 91 freshwater fish. The first part of catching this beast is knowing exactly where to go. This is the location where you can catch Yok Huy Pleco in the new Tural continent:

• Kozama’uka: Roughly around X: 22.7, Y: 12.5 around the Fields of Gold

But knowing where to catch it is only half the challenge. You also need the right bait and actions to catch six of these. We recommend using the Honeybee bait or a Versatile Lure. Execute Patience II and then surface slap the water if you get a Sleeper, followed by Powerful Hookset. Once you get one, use Identical Cast to get all six.

How to Catch Qor Piraruco in FFXIV

Following up after Yok Huy Pleco, your next objective for the Wachumeqimeqi Deliveries is to catch six Qor Piraruco in FFXIV Dawntrail. This is a level 93 fish, which you can find at the following location:

• Urqopacha: Approximately X: 5.5, Y: 23.0 near Worqor Lar Dor

You want the Collector’s Gloves on along with Honeybee bait. Versatile Lure may work but your mileage may vary. You’re looking for the “!!” bites here. I suggest using surface slap when you get a Morsel Trout. Ignore any “!” hooks and you should get Qor Piraruco. From there, Identical Cast as always to get all six for the deliveries.
