How to Catch a Brushie in Infinity Nikki

If you’re looking for a comfort game to play this holiday season, then Infinity Nikki will undeniably fit the bill. You assume control of the titular Nikki, a talented and upcoming stylist, on her quest to find the miracle outfits in Miraland. While investigating the coma incidents, you will meet Timis, who offers to make you a handsome hairstyle, but she still needs one component to make it: a Brushie. But there is one problem—she’s too busy to get the material right now, and this is where you come in.

How do I unlock the Rippling Serenity outfit?

A Brushie is a type of fish used to make cosmetic items. After Nikki’s conversation with Timis, Nikki concludes she needs to make a fishing outfit. To obtain the sketch for the Rippling Serenity outfit, you will need the following:

• 1000 Blings
• 3 Whimstars

You can obtain blings by various methods, including completing quests and opening chests. As for Whimstars, you can find them within the environment. Remember, if you want to see the closest Whimstar to you, open up Momo’s view, which will allow you to track the nearest one. When you have collected all the necessary pieces, head to the shortcut wheel and go into the “Heart of Infinity”, where you can unlock the sketch for the outfit.

Now that you have the Rippling Serenity sketch at your disposal, you can move on to the next part, creating the outfit. To do this, you will need the following items:

• 5 Daisy
• 1 Foodie Bee
• 1 Floof Yarn
• 72 Thread of Purity

You probably know where to find some of these materials, as you need them to make the prior story-related outfits, but we’ll give you a quick rundown. The daisies and the foodie bees can be found in raised bed gardens or the prairie grassland areas around Florawish. You can obtain the furball material Floof Yarn by brushing the dog breed Floof. The best place to find these cute pups is by the Wishing Tree. For the last item, the Thread of Purity can be obtained by completing quests, opening chests, and beating enemies.

After collecting all the materials, open the shortcut wheel and head into “Sketch.” You should be able to create the Rippling Serenity attire.

How do I catch a Brushie in Infinity Nikki?

With the fishing outfit within your mitts, you can now move on to catching the Brushie. But you can’t just cast your line into the sea and hope for the best, as you can only catch fish in particular spots. You will know if you’ve walked past one, as several fish will swirl in a circle together. There are quite a few fishing spots in Florawish, but you won’t know what fish you’ve caught until you pull it out of the sea, so there will be a bit of trial and error involved. However, we have provided a screenshot of the location where we found the Brushie for reference.

You will get a prompt to initiate the fishing event when you are by a fishing spot. A mini-game will start, where you will have to pull the fish in the opposite direction it’s swimming, and when it’s exhausted, reel it in. If done successfully, you will then obtain the fish. When you have caught the Brushie, return back to Timis, and you will complete the quest. After collecting a certain number of any item in Infinity Nikki, you can track their location by heading to the open-world map and clicking “Collection.”
