Persona 3 Reload does not hold back when it comes to the mini-bosses players fight in Tartarus. Every few floors, there is a new major enemy to tackle, such as the Persona 3 Reload Barbaric Beast Wheel. Players encounter this odd wheel with a lion-like face on the 11th floor of Tartarus.
Barbaric Beast Wheel Weaknesses & Attacks Explained
The battle with the Barbaric Beast Wheel includes two additional enemies in the form of Magic Hands. You might have encountered these enemies in the floors leading up to this mini-boss, but you want to take them out first. Their weaknesses are fire, so be sure to use Agi on them.
As for the Barbaric Beast Wheel weakness, he is weak to wind, so you want to use Garu to take it out faster. It is also resistant to fire, so don’t waste any Agi skills on it. It has a few attacks, such as its strong Bash skill that you need to watch out for. However, if you use the right Personas and skills, this should be quite straightforward.
Recommended Personas & Party Members
Your Persona 3 Reload party members are chosen for you during this early fight, as it includes the main character, Junpei, and Yukari. Fortunately, that is all you need since Junpei can take care of the Magic Hands with Agi and Yukari can use Garu on the Barbaric Beast Wheel. But there are some Personas you can switch between to make this a lot easier.
Orpheus is the default Persona for the protagonist and comes with Agi for the Magic Hands. Meanwhile, the other recommended Persona is Angel. You can fuse for her or find her like I did through Shuffle Time. She has Garu for the boss. The goal here is to use Agi on the Magic Hands, then switch to Angel or shift to Yukari within the same turn to use Garu on the Beast Wheel. Do this and you can chain up All-Out Attacks over and over, and make short work of this boss.
