How to Beat Green Elmenta in Metaphor: ReFantazio

With some of the Elmenta enemy weaknesses in Metaphor: ReFantazio, it’s fairly easy to tell by their color which Skill to use, but the Green Elmenta might be a bit more difficult to beat at a glance. Once you start to recognize colors tied to elements in the game, it’s easier to pick out these nuances.

What is the Green Elmenta weakness in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

If you want to beat a Green Elmenta in the game, you need someone on hand who can use electric attacks. This might be a bit tricky early on, as Kande is the third elemental spell the Mage Archetype learns. I know I ended up defaulting to using Bot and Blizz fire and ice spells initially, as well as the Cyc wind spell that the Seeker role learns, more frequently. But Kande and Kandera are ones you want.

Speaking of Cyc Skills, don’t use those. The Green Elmenta’s innate nature is tied to wind, so it is strong against those spells.

As usual, you get a wealth of MAG and EXP from defeating one of these enemies. The common drop is the Stormcaller Flute item, which allows you to use a wind-based attack in a battle. The rare drop is an Amethyst, which you can sell for reeve the next time you’re in a shop.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is also a demo available.
