How to Access Nerub-Ar Palace in World of Warcraft The War Within

World of Warcraft: The War Within Season One is live, and with it, players will be able to access previously locked end-game content. This includes the Nerub-Ar Palace raid, where they’ll take on new bosses, including Queen Ansurek, the ruler of Azj-Kahet. There’s a few ways you can access Nerub-Ar Palace, and some require a couple more steps than others. Here’s a quick guide on how to access Nerub-Ar Palace in World of Warcraft The War Within.

How to Access Nerub-Ar Palace in World of Warcraft The War Within

The simplest way to access Nerub-Ar Palace is to queue-up for it using the in-game raid finder. Currently only the Skittering Battlements section of the raid is available through the raid finder, so you’ll only have access to three of the eight bosses. The other wings of the raid will be released on September 17th and September 24th, respectively.

To access the entire raid proper right away you’ll have to join a raid group (you can use the premade group finder), and travel to the raid entrance. The entrance to Nerub-Ar Palace is slightly southwest of the Weaver’s Lair in Azj-Kahet. The map below will point you in the right direction.

Requirements to Enter the Nerub-Ar Palace Raid

Whether you queue up through the raid finder or find yourself a raid group to team-up with, you’ll want to make sure you’re prepared for what Nerub-Ar Palace may throw at you. For starters, you’ll need to hit level 80 before you can enter the raid at all. You’ll also want to increase your overall item level to have an easier time tackling the raid’s bosses.

Queueing up in the raid finder requires an item level of 567, but your raid group might require higher numbers depending on what difficulty you’re challenging the raid at. At normal difficulty, the recommended item level for Nerub-Ar Palace is 571. For heroic, aim for an item level of 584.
