How Strength And Luck Parameters Work In Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is packed with twenty five years of Final Fantasy music and a familiar looking battle system. Heroes, just like in core Final Fantasy titles, level up and stats like strength and magic make it easier to defeat monsters in BMS (battle) mode.

Characters with high agility and luck are best for FMS (field) mode. Agility determines how far you can travel and luck increases your chances of finding treasure chests. Event scenes (called EMS) play movies in the background while you move the stylus around the screen. Characters with high luck and agility help you avoid taking damage when you miss a note.

Players can further customize characters by selecting abilities and spells like Fira, which are triggered when you hit a number of notes on beat during battles.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy comes out in North America for Nintendo 3DS on July 3.
