As you level up to 50 in Diablo IV, you earn Skill Points to spend on your character’s Skill Tree to unlock new abilities. But just how many Skill Points are in Diablo IV? Here’s what you need to know.
How many Skill Points can I get in Diablo IV?
There are 58 Skill Points you can get. 48 of them are earned automatically at each level as you level up to 50, meaning it’s easy to unlock new Skills and passives simply by playing through the main story campaign.
Once you reach 50, Skill Points can no longer be earned through leveling. Instead, this switches over to Paragon Points. When added to the Paragon Board, they give you stat buffs.
To earn the other 10 Skill Points in Diablo IV, you must reach rank three Renown with each region: Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Kehjista, Haweza, and Fractured Peaks. You can earn two Skill Points per region by obtaining rank three there.
How do I earn more Renown in Diablo IV?
You can get more Renown for a certain region by doing the following while in it:
- Activating a Waypoint: 20 Renown
- Taking over a Stronghold: 100 Renown
- Completing a Side Quest: 20 Renown
- Discovering an Area: 5 Renown
- Beating a Side Dungeon: 30 Renown
- Activating an Altar of Lilith: 10 Renown
Diablo IV is available now on the PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
