How long Black Myth Wukong will take to beat will vary between players. For example, each chapter took me around two hours to beat. But those unfamiliar with action RPGs may see each chapter taking upwards of five to six hours, as Black Myth Wukong throws fight after fight at you.

The game itself as a total of six chapters, and beating each chapter will reward you with a relic. These relics provide passive attribute increases and other beneficial effects. Additionally, completing each chapter provide a small trickle of lore that elaborates on the journey of the Destined One.

Again, mileage may vary depending on how good you are at action RPGs, or gel with the kind of combat and systems the game wants you to engage with. Black Myth Wukong also has New Game+, which means once you’ve completed your journey, you can begin all over again.

Black Myth Wukong is available for PC through Steam and on PlayStation 5.
