The new event asks that Honkai: Star Rail players be at Trailblazer level 21. Once at that level, the event will be accessible after completing the quest Trailblaze Continuance: “Xianzhou Luofu – March to Mastery: A Star Is Born” and having unlocked March 7th’s Path of the Hunt.

How the Saga of Primaveral Blade: Swordsage Saga Event Works

The event will be running from July 31, 2024, until August 9, 2024 and follows March 7th training for the upcoming Wardance ceremony on the Xianzhou Luofu. It is broken up into Swordplay Sessions, Mastering Sword Moves, Sword Trials, and Swordart Escapades.

Swordplay Sessions are four activities you can do during each period of the event to train March 7th’s individual stats: Strength, Dexterity, Tenacity and Acuity. Continued training will deplete March 7th’s mood and when her mood is low the training efficiency will also decrease. In that event players will need to let March 7th go on excursions to improve her mood and have the training work to its fullest extent. On occasion these sessions will end in Swordart Anecdotes, small vignettes with other characters that can give an extra stat boost to March 7th as well

Mastering Sword Moves is the next section of the event which will involve March 7th mastering special techniques that increase her combat abilities. Doing so requires the stat training in the designated stats as well as accumulating more Swordart Ascension. Swordart Ascension is earned by learning more moves, feeding back into the stats and opening up more moves that March 7th is able to learn. These lessons lead into the next step of the event, the Sword Trials.

Sword Trials are special battles that can only be undertaken by March 7th alone. Auto-battle will be mandatory as well. These will be exams against NPC bosses where your March 7th’s training will be tested.

As training and Sword Trials occur, players will encounter Swordart Excapades. Swordart Escapades are side story events that will appear as you progress through the event. During these events, you will unlock bonuses in the form of companions to assist March 7th or extra training bonuses. Depending on the Escapades players will encounter, different endings for the event’s story will be unlocked.

There are five total endings for the event, centering around March 7th’s confrontation with Skott. The ending shifts depending on the Companion that will assist March 7th in the battle. By completing all five endings for the event, players will receive three Eidolons to upgrade March 7th’s Path of the Hunt abilities. In addition, going through the event will reward players with the limited-time prizes of Self-modeling Resin, numerous character upgrade materials and 1200 Stellar Jade.

These are only three out of the six eidolons needed to fully upgrade March 7th’s new abilities. The three remaining Eidolons, according to miHoYo, will be released in upcoming events. This event will also have a permanent mode, once the time period ends, so, no matter when players choose to engage with it, they will be able to get March 7th’s Eidolons.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now on iOS, Android, PC, and Playstation 5. Patch 7.4 and the Saga of Primaveral Blade event will release on July 31, 2024.
