Indie studio LOOT Interactive has announced that it’s now publishing games to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita this summer. Of the first batch, one of them is Whispering Willows, which was released on PC and Ouya in 2014.
Whispering Willows is a hand-drawn 2D horror-adventure game in which you play a young girl called Elena who has the ability to project her spirit outside of her body. You have to use this ability of hers to solve puzzles and help lost spirits in order make it through the Willows Mansion as she uncovers the mysteries surrounding her father’s disappearance.
There are also more benevolent spirits that will need to be dealt with as you venture through the mansion, hence the horror theme. On top of that, the mansion itself is somewhat of an enigma, requiring Elena to interact with it both as a spirit and back in her own flesh.
LOOT Interactive will be showing off Whispering Willows on PlayStation consoles at this year’s E3. Find out more about the game on its website.
