Hori will re-release the Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix Switch and PC controller in March 2025. While it is designed for the Switch and Steam versions of the game, there will be an option to swap the buttons to show PlayStation controls.
While supplies last, four △◯✕□ buttons will come with the controller. This is for people who’re used to playing with a PlayStation controller or who just prefer this aesthetic over the XYBA buttons. The buttons and sliders glow when you use them, and they’re the same size as the panels on the Future Tone arcade machines. So you can feel like you’re playing the game at an arcade while remaining at home.
Unlike the Future Tone DX controller Hori released for the PS4, this Switch/PC controller does not have a “Normal Mode” to switch to. This means that you can literally only use it for Project Diva Mega Mix. As well, it’s not a wireless controller. To use it, you must plug in the USB cord.
Pre-orders for the Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix controller re-release opened on January 1, 2025. It costs 38,478 JPY ($245.90). You can put in your pre-order via the Hori website. However, Hori does not offer international shipping. The game is also a separate purchase.
Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mega Mix is available on the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam.
