HoYoverse launched its Twitch Stream Incentive Program for Honkai: Star Rail, which will allow streamers to earn rewards including Stellar Jades and potentially even cash. The streaming portion of the event will last until April 17, 2024, with leaderboard rewards set to be sent out in May 2024.
The program, which requires linking your Twitch and HoYoverse accounts, provides rewards for reaching certain milestones while streaming the game. These rewards include experience items and credits for meeting daily milestones, or Stellar Jades for streaming for a certain number of days. A leaderboard contest will also be held, with a streamer’s score being calculated based on their total stream duration and a percentage of their total watch duration. The prizes for this section begin at $100 and 800 Stelar Jades for places 51-100, and they peak at $6,000 and 6,000 Stellar Jades for first place.
There are also bonus rewards for streaming on weekends, but the rules of the program forbid actions such as streaming other games under the Star Rail Twitch category, cheating or sharing unreleased information, and extending stream time while away from your computer.
After the live stream phase ends on April 17, 2024, an announcements and information collecting period will take place from April 24, 2024 until May 5, 2024, with results and rewards from the leaderboards being released over May 15, 2024 to June 28, 2024.
HoYoverse also recently released a trailer featuring the Lightning and Nihility character Acheron, ahead of her debut in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.1. Meanwhile, Star Rail writer David Jiang was joined in conversation by Kinoko Nasu of the Fate franchise in an interview on Denfaminico.
The Honkai: Star Rail Twitch Stream Incentive Program is now live and will last until April 17, 2024, with leaderboard rewards set to be released in May, 2024. The game itself was just updated to version 2.1 and is available now on PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
