Honkai Star Rail PS5 Technical Test Recruitment Starts This Week

During gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live, HoYoVerse announced a Honkai: Star Rail PS5 technical test. At the end of a trailer for the game, it revealed it begin recruitment for it on August 23, 2023. It didn’t note when the test will actually take place. It only noted it will begin recruiting at 10am UTC+8 on August 23, 2023 for it. We’ll likely see a website launch for applications that day.

Here’s the gamescom 2023 Honkai: Star Rail trailer. It primarily focuses on Fu Xuan. She’s a new five-star Quantum character from the Preservation path. It shows off gameplay, as well as insight into her character’s personality. At the 1:30 mark, the news about the PS5 technical test recruitment came up. After that, it seemed like another new character for the game is being teased.

We don’t have an exact release window for the Fu Xuan banner in-game. However, we know she’ll appear after the Dan Heng five-star alt Imbibitor Lunae. That banner begins on August 30, 2023, immediately after the 4.0 update goes live for the game.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PCs and mobile devices, and a PS5 version will arrive in 2023. The PS5 Technical Test recruitment will begin on August 23, 2023.
