Honkai: Star Rail Moze Voice Actor Lines Updated After 2.5

HoYoVerse offered an update on the Honkai: Star Rail Moze voice lines replacement after Chris “Kirbopher” Niosi stepped down from the role. It noted that while the lines will remain initially as of 2.4, the developer will replace them with a new voice actor in later versions of the game.

Here is the official statement from HoYoVerse. It didn’t offer any update on a new voice actor for the upcoming four-star unit to replace the Chris Niosi lines for Moze. It only recommended people follow accounts for future details about the character.

Chris Niosi announced he would step down on July 24, 2024. He referenced his past behavior toward his ex-girlfriends that came to light in July 2019, which included emotional and sexually manipulative abuse. In that statement, he noted, “But having spent the last week reading the comments from the community, I cannot in good faith continue in a role that would cause undue pain for so many people, especially those I have hurt in the past.”

There’s still some time before Moze becomes playable in Honkai: Star Rail. While the 2.4 storyline will bring the Trailblazer back to the Luofu, the four-star Lightning Hunt character won’t debut as a playable unit until 2.5.

Honkai: Star Rail is available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices, and the 2.4 update arrives on July 31, 2024.
