Honkai: Star Rail Launch Trailer Showcases Its Anime Style

Honkai: Star Rail’s official launch is getting ever closer, and a sign of this is the release of its official launch trailer. It shows a preview of the characters and scenarios that people will encounter in-game while an original song plays. It appears designed to resemble a traditional anime opening.

Here’s the official launch trailer announcement for Honkai: Star Rail. Going by the name “Interstellar Journey,” it begins with a glimpse of Kafka. Then, the male and female versions of the player character The Trailblazer appears. Himeko and Dan Heng show up after that. A brief moment with March 7th with both of them and Welt follows. A number of other playable characters players can recruit, like Yanqing and Tingyun, show up after that. The video also showcases many of their attacks as they fight giant robotic enemies.

Honkai: Star Rail is releasing on April 26, 2023, and people can download and preinstall it ahead of launch. A pre-registration campaign is on the official website resulted in five main in-game rewards: 50,000 credits, 20 Star Rail passes, a “Trailblazer – Welcome” avatar, and the 4-Star character Serval. Hoyoverse promoted the game’s launch with many different methods, such as a pre-installation contest and a TikTok “Star Rail” challenge.

Honkai: Star Rail will release on April 26, 2023, but people can already download and pre-install the game on their PC, Android, and Apple iOS devices. A future PS4 and PS5 launch is also planned.
